As Christians, our beliefs are not based on mere opinion or religious preference. It is the complete truth, as

revealed by God, established by historical evidence, and affirmed in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. The following

is a summary of the fundamental truths that we hold to be true, taken from the constitution of our

church:

We hold that the entire Holy Bible, which includes both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and

the final reference for Christians to follow in their faith and conduct their lives in a Christian way. The

fundamental tenets of our Christian beliefs are summed up in the following. We believe

In the one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons, the only true and living God: the Holy Spirit, the Son,

and the Father; that God is the one who made everything and keeps it all together;

That Mary, the virgin, gave birth to Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy

Spirit; that He combines perfect humanity and deity into a single persona; that He acts as a bridge between

God and humans; that His blood was shed to fulfill the requirements of God's Law and that He was crucified on

the cross for the sins of all people; that He was resurrected physically and ascended to Heaven; that Christ will

return to earth in person at the end of time, as He has promised, to judge the living and the dead, that the dead

will be raised, and that believers will inherit eternal life and non-believers will be eternally damned;

that the Holy Spirit is the one who frees men of their sins, leads them to Christ's salvation, changes their

lives, and continues to instruct, support, and teach them as their Counselor;

That all people, beginning with Adam, have sinned against God and fallen short of God's glory, and that they

must repent and believe in Christ or face eternal damnation in hell; and that the only thing that can save

people is the finished work of Christ, which was done once and for all as an atonement for their sins; that

eternal salvation is available to those who claim Jesus Christ as their Lord and believe that God raised Him

from the dead.
